When? Weekly on Sundays at 6.15pm
Your host is Stuart Downes, a certified gong practitioner.
“Please join me for this unique meditative experience of relaxation, healing, stress reduction, emotional and physical cleansing, spiritual insights, and profound self-transformation.”
I am a certified gong practitioner and have studied with trainers on a variety of sound healing instruments including gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, and shamanic drums. I have always been interested in the mind-body connection and how the vibrational energies of sound affect us on a physical, mental and spiritual level. It’s been an amazing transformational journey and I’m excited to share this profound multi-sensory experience with others.
I am a naturally curious person, a life-long learner who believes in living life to the fullest. I think for humans to truly find happiness we need to cultivate deep relationships, find purpose and meaning, and connect with something greater than ourselves.
What happens in a Sound Bath?
A sound-bath is usually 60 minutes long and held in groups of up to 13 people. At the stunning penthouse, you lie down on thick super comfy 3 inch memory foam mattresses and are provided with velvet pillows, thick fluffy blankets and a silk eye pillow. The sound practitioner will then play different bowls, gongs and instruments to create blissful and relaxing sounds that put your mind and body into a deep sense of well-being. There will also be a voice guided introduction to melt away the stresses of the week. At the end of the session you will gently be brought back into the space and have time to enjoy the beautiful feelings and your own personal oasis of calm.
Do I need to do anything?
There is no preparation or prior experience required. You simply arrive and lie down on the thick 3 inch memory foam mattresses . You do not have to think at all! It is unlike meditation or mindfulness in that the soothing music and sound vibrations do all the work leaving you refreshed and rejuvenated.
What should I wear?
Please wear anything comfortable. You do not need to change.

The Sound Baths are open to everyone over 16 years old and requires no level of fitness or prior experience. Sound therapy is not suitable for people with severe or clinical mental health problems, epilepsy or less than 12 weeks pregnant. If you are unsure, please seek professional medical advice.
